Changing the discussion for the running community in Los Angeles

With the purchase of the LA Marathon in 2007, the new management envisioned a unique brand that speaks to the modernity and energy of the City of Los Angeles. Collective was tasked with creating this exciting new brand from the ground up.

A new logo system was designed around the idea of a “connected path” that unites the entire city around the event. Race day banners, advertising and an award winning website which leverages social media were designed and launched to much acclaim.
